These guidelines are intended to help providers with the evaluation and treatment of severe cases of Covid-19 in children. Covid-19 and Multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MISC) in children have overlapping features. This resource helps to distinguish these two pathways.

This manual contains simulation scenarios which have been designed for teaching anesthesia providers from all settings who may be required to practice with limited resources. It is intended to be freely shared and modified under Creative Commons with attribution NC. The manual includes information on how to perform simulation in low resource settings, including setting up a simulation lab with varying levels of fidelity. Scenarios include ketamine GA, laryngospasm, induction, emergence, hypotension, high airway pressures, high spinal anesthesia, maternal arrest, post-partum hemorrhage, aspiration, anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest and more.
