Post-covid conditions (‘Long covid’ and other sequelae of covid disease)

Little is known about the significance of the many clusters and syndromes that currently sit under the umbrella of ‘Long Covid’ or ‘Post-covid’. Research is ongoing into the prevalence, management and long term prognosis of post-covid syndromes in adults and children. Meanwhile different measurement criteria used by studies undertaken so far make comparisons difficult and pose challenges for future rehabilitation, treatment and vaccination policies.
