The Health Policy Plus project is hosted an interactive webinar to present up to date and practical information on home-based care of COVID-19 patients. This recording will provide health care workers with information to educate patients, their families and other household members, to strengthen the prevention and control of SARS-CoV-2 infections in the community.
Most patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 can be cared for at home. It is important, however, that patients learn how to prevent transmission of the virus as well as understand their medical needs, how to obtain medical assistance and when to visit a healthcare facility. International clinical experts from the United States and Africa will share current evidence and discuss real-life patient scenarios.
